Adding to the longest winning streak in Solano County Athletic Conference this week, American Canyon beat Fairfield 42-14. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Wolves.
Benicia and Bethel played the most contested game in the league this week, with Benicia eventually emerging with a 21-19 victory.
Jadon Brisendine threw for 299 yards and 5 touchdowns. He went 16-27 with 1 interception.
Brisendine put up the best numbers in passing as Vanden defeated Vallejo. Brisendine's favorite target this week was Dion Williams, who caught 6 passes for 160 yards.
The Vikings' Brisendine and Williams led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Brisendine has thrown for 1,848 yards this season, while Williams has 56 catches for 775 yards. Jomon Dotson from American Canyon leads the league in rushing with 1,411 yards.
Going into this week's contest against the Panthers, Vanden's Brisendine needs 152 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season.
A big matchup in Solano County Athletic Conference this week will be when LeVon Haynes' team takes on Benicia. As it stands, the Vikings are in third, while Craig Holden's team is in first.
