Volleyball Recap: Riverside-Brookfield Triumphs

It's playoff time, and Riverside-Brookfield had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Argo Argonauts by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

James Long paced Riverside-Brookfield's offense, picking up seven kills. Long got some help from Gianfranco Crancich and his seven assists. Long also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Liam Keohane, racking up two apiece.

Riverside-Brookfield's victory bumped their record up to 23-13. As for Argo, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-11.

Coming up, Riverside-Brookfield will head out to take on Sandburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. Argo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
