Basketball Recap: Charlotte Starts off Right with Win over South Fort Myers + How To Watch

Charlotte gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the South Fort Myers Wolfpack 72-46.

Despite the loss, South Fort Myers still got an impressive performance from Lil Darius Sotomayor, who shot 43% from the field en route to 18 points and four steals. Sotomayor is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 18 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenneth Dyal, who posted 13 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, South Fort Myers fell to 2-1.

Charlotte will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against IMG Academy Black at 7:00 p.m. on December 2. As for South Fort Myers, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 81-76 victory against DeSoto County on the 28th.
