Baseball Game Preview: Gorham Fayette Eagles vs. Stryker Panthers

The Gorham Fayette Eagles will take on the Stryker Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Monday. Gorham Fayette lost 21-1 to North Central.

Meanwhile, Stryker came up short against Edgerton on Monday, falling 13-1.

Stryker saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Myers, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Myers is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last eight games he's played.

Gorham Fayette's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Stryker, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.

Gorham Fayette was able to grind out a solid win over Stryker in their previous matchup two weeks ago, winning 7-2. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
