Softball Recap: Dunbar Takes a Loss

Dunbar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Immokalee Indians, falling 22-2. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Arianna Corgelas was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last four times she's played.

Dunbar's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Immokalee, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Dunbar has already played their next game, a 21-6 loss against Cypress Lake on the 28th. As for Immokalee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-7 defeat against LaBelle on the 28th.
