Volleyball Recap: Timberlake Christian Falls Short Against Ranked Stonebridge

Timberlake Christian faced StoneBridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Tornadoes fell 2-0 to the Cavaliers. The Tornadoes were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cavaliers from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

StoneBridge found their leader in sophomore Selah Telfer, who had 18 assists and two aces.

Timberlake Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for StoneBridge, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Timberlake Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against North Cross on the 23rd. As for StoneBridge, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Southwest Virginia Academy on the 23rd.
