Volleyball Game Preview: Fort Recovery Indians vs. Riverside Pirates

The Fort Recovery Indians will be taking part in a tournament against the Riverside Pirates at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Riverside took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Fort Recovery, who comes in off a win.

Fort Recovery took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. Everything went their way against Tri-Village as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Fort Recovery never let Tri-Village on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-15, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against Milton-Union, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17, 25-17.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Fort Recovery, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season.
