Soccer Game Preview: Macon County vs. Portland

Macon County hasn't had much luck against Portland recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Tigers will square off against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Macon County took on Wilson Central on Thursday. The Tigers came up short against the Wildcats, falling 5-1.

Meanwhile, Portland was not the first on the board on Tuesday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against Kirkwood by a score of 3-1.

Portland hit the Cobras with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Elijah Zimmerman, Brayan Figueroa, and Issac Perez.

Macon County's loss dropped their record down to 9-6-2. As for Portland, their win bumped their record up to 10-3-3.

Macon County couldn't quite get it done against Portland in their previous meeting last Tuesday as they fell 3-1. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
