Football Recap: Helix Finds Home Field Redemption Against Clairemont + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Helix, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Clairemont Chieftains by a score of 19-12 on Thursday.

Helix's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB four times. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Justice Brown. She also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with eight.

Although Clairemont took the loss, they still got scores from Kacey Otterman and Abby Mora.

Helix's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Clairemont, the defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 3-2.

Helix wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 34-0 loss against Brawley on the 29th. As for Clairemont, they will take on Morse at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed ten points per game this season, so the Chieftains' offense will have their work cut out for them.
