On Thursday, Appling County earned a 2-0 victory over Vidalia.

Appling County easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-20.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Wayne County's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to Perry.

Wayne County's defeat dropped their record down to 20-7. As for Appling County, their win bumped their record up to 16-7.

Appling County was able to grind out a solid victory over Wayne County in their previous matchup back in September, winning 2-0. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Yellow Jackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
