Baseball Recap: Columbia Montour Vo-Tech Drops Season-High Score on Weatherly

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northwest Area, Columbia Montour Vo-Tech was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on Weatherly with a sharp 17-2 victory. The Rams' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Columbia Montour Vo-Tech let Myles Koser and Axton Koser run wild. Myles scored four runs and stole three bases while going 4-for-4, while Axton went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave Axton a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Beau Rohm, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.

Columbia Montour Vo-Tech always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .650. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Columbia Montour Vo-Tech's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Weatherly, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
