Baseball Recap: Parker Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Parker's offense. They came up short against the Paxon School For Advanced Studies Golden Eagles on Tuesday, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in February.

Parker saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Ochs, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Parker and nudges their season record down to 6-5. As for Paxon School For Advanced Studies, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

When Parker and Paxon School For Advanced Studies next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Parker will try to stop Sandalwood's three-game winning streak when they meet at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Paxon School For Advanced Studies will take on Atlantic Coast and their three-game winning streak at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
