Basketball Game Preview: Chatfield Chargers vs. Cody Broncs

Having just played yesterday, the Chatfield Chargers will jump right back in to play the Cody Broncs at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Chatfield is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Chatfield's tournament run continued when they took on Cherokee Trail on Friday. The contest between Chatfield and Cherokee Trail didn't end well, with Chatfield falling 65-46.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jordyn Reed, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Sadie Goodwin, who went 5 of 10 on her way to 14 points.

Meanwhile, Cody came up short against Denver East on Thursday and fell 45-34. The match marked the Broncs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Chatfield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Cody, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-2.
