Bradenton Christian is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Bayshore: they outscored them in every quarter. Bradenton Christian put the hurt on Bayshore with a sharp 70-48 win on Tuesday. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while the Bruins are ranked 611th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Manatee unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 81-56 to Palmetto. The Hurricanes were down 61-34 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Bradenton Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points per game. As for Manatee, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9.

Bradenton Christian took their victory against Manatee in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 77-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bradenton Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
