Having struggled with four losses in a row, Laurel Hill turned things around against Poplar Springs on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 18-8 margin over the Atomics. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Hoboes considering their one-run performance the match before.

Savannah Riley made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up just two earned (and six unearned) runs off three hits. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.
