Volleyball Recap: Christian Learning Center Wins Going Away Against Overland Christian

Christian Learning Center won the last time they faced Overland Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Eagle with a sharp 3-0 win. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Mustangs yet this season.

While Christian Learning Center won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-23, 25-17.

Abby Jacobs paced Christian Learning Center's offense, picking up 14 kills. Jacobs got some help from Stepheni Castleberry and her 29 assists. Holly Cain controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

Christian Learning Center now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Overland Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Christian Learning Center will face off against rival Plaza Heights Christian Academy on Friday. Meanwhile, Overland Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe El Dorado Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
