It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but McKinney North had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Lufkin Panthers. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Connor Leos spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit. He has become a key player for McKinney North: the team is undefeated when he allows at most two hits, but 10-12-1 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Gage Bradley and Cohen Broussard did most of the damage at the plate: Bradley went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one run, while Broussard went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
