Preview: Garces Memorial vs. St. Joseph
On Friday, Garces Memorial are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against St. Joseph at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Garces Memorial, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-56, which was the final score in Garces Memorial's tilt against St. John Bosco last Friday. Garces Memorial were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-42.
Meanwhile, St. Joseph had enough points to win and then some against Pioneer Valley last week, winning 35-19.
St. Joseph's win lifted them to 2-0 while Garces Memorial's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if St. Joseph can add another positive mark to their record or if Garces Memorial can shake off the loss and take the spring out of St. Joseph's step.
