Recap: Brooke Point Black Hawks vs. Riverbend Bears
In what's become a running theme this season, the Brooke Point Black Hawks gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They blew past Riverbend 68-46. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Brooke Point also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Brooke Point's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ryan Apietu led the charge by scoring 14 points. Seth Sanusi was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Brooke Point is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season. As for Riverbend, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.
Brooke Point does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverbend, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Massaponax at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Massaponax focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Monday.
