Baseball Recap: Dixon Takes a Loss

Dixon lost to Woodland on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rams came up short against the Wolves, falling 9-2. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Emilio Martinez was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double. Jeremiah Wood also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Dixon's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Woodland, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wolves beat Dixon by a score of 17-1 on Friday.
