High school football: Top 10 prospect Sammy Brown commits to Clemson

Sammy Brown committed to Clemson on Monday ahead of his senior season at
Jefferson (Ga.).
Brown is the No. 1 player in Georgia in the Class of 2024 according to 247Sports, which also has Brown as the No. 1 linebacker in the nation and the No. 5 player in the country.
Playing on both sides of the ball, Brown had 59 tackles and 1,449 rushing yards with 21 touchdowns as a junior.
In the final regular season game of the season Brown put it all together as he rumbled for 163 yards and four touchdowns on 15 carries. Defensively, he recorded a career-high 21 tackles in a 35-7 win.
Brown picked Clemson over Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Tennessee. He is the 10th highest-rated commit in Clemson history over the likes of C.J. Spiller, Sammy Watkins and Tee Higgins.
