Soccer Recap: South Walton Plays to a Tie

For the first time since back in December of 2024, South Walton was forced to settle for a draw on Monday. Neither they nor the Niceville Eagles could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The Seahawks had to tread lightly for part of the game as Brooks Lukow and Gavin Wilde were both handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

Wilde and Martin Fajardo scored both of South Walton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 27 goals.

South Walton's draw makes their record 10-3-5 this season. As for Niceville, they moved theirs to 6-4-4.

South Walton will head out on the road to take on Tate at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. South Walton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season. As for Niceville, they will host Pace at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
