Football Recap: Southbridge Comes Up Short

Southbridge fell victim to Prouty and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 44-0 loss at the hands of the Panthers. Surprisingly, this marked the Pioneers' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Southbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Prouty, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Coming up, Southbridge will challenge Keefe Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Broncos' defense has only allowed 14.8 points per game this season, so the Pioneers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Prouty, they will square off against Abby Kelley Foster at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers are facing the Bears at the right time seeing as the Bears are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
