Baseball Recap: Blue Ridge Barons vs. Fishburne Military Caissons

Colby White was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). Those 12 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
In other batting news, Colt Chalmers and Charles Searby did most of the damage at the plate: Chalmers went 2-for-3 with three runs and one triple, while Searby scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. That's the most hits Chalmers has posted since back in March of 2024.
