Volleyball Recap: Huron Comes Up Short

Huron extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 8-14. They lost 3-0 to the Brandon Valley Lynx. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Lynx when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Brandon Valley, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-3. They not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 18th (when they won 3-0).

Brandon Valley was led to victory by Mya VanWesten and Alexis VanderHam. VanWesten had 17 digs and two assists, while VanderHam had six digs and one assist. That's the most digs VanderHam has posted over her last six matches.

Huron has already played their next matchup (against Watertown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Brandon Valley also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Rapid City Central.
