Football Recap: West Henderson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

West Henderson played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Hendersonville Bearcats and fell 39-7. The Falcons were down 26-0 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Cade Young threw for 162 yards on 14 of 26 attempts. Brady Duvall was his top target, picking up 64 receiving yards. On the ground, Zane McCraw rushed for 104 yards.

Hendersonville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from JaRon Ward, who threw for 328 yards and four TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punched in one rushing score. Those 328 passing yards gave Ward a new career-high. Hendersonville's leading receiver Amir Albany was Ward's top target yet again, picking up 159 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

West Henderson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Hendersonville, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Henderson will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Owen at 7:30 p.m. on the 12th. As for Hendersonville, they will head out to square off against North Henderson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
