Basketball Recap: Chamberlain Comes Up Short

Chamberlain lost against Mobridge-Pollock back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chamberlain Cubs were beaten by the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers 73-27. The Cubs' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Chamberlain's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Mobridge-Pollock, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.

Chamberlain will welcome Platte/Geddes at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Chamberlain is facing Platte/Geddes at the right time seeing as Platte/Geddes is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Mobridge-Pollock, they will square off against Centerville at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Mobridge-Pollock knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Centerville likes a good challenge.
