Indiana Crossroads recap September 24, 2013

Triton Central added to the longest winning streak in Indiana Crossroads this week by beating Lapel, 38-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.

Indianapolis Lutheran was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in the league. Earlier in the week, the Saints defeated Park Tudor 37-17.

Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter's dynamic duo of Jake Purichia and Jake Hagan proved tough for Indianapolis Bishop Chatard to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Purichia threw for 207 yards and 2 touchdowns and Hagan had 97 yards receiving. Nichols Kaelin helped Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 72 yards.

The Raiders' dynamic duo of Purichia and Hagan proved to be unstoppable against the Trojans, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

He went 18-29 with 1 interception.

Purichia put up the best numbers in passing as Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter lost to Indianapolis Bishop Chatard.

Justin Brent was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 15 carries, he ran for 176 yards as Speedway lost to Vince Lorenzano's team. Teammate Shannon Hall added to the ground attack by rushing for 91 yards.

Hagan was the best receiver in Indiana Crossroads this week as the Raiders lost to the Trojans.

The leading receiver in the league this season is Kyree Hollis. The Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter star has 28 catches for 516 yards.

Two of the top teams in the league will go toe-to-toe this week when Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter takes on Triton Central. The Raiders' offense has scored 174 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while Tim Able's team has allowed only 23 on the year.

At the moment, the Tigers are in first, while Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter is in fifth.

Triton Central took down the Bulldogs 38-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
