Basketball Game Preview: Springfield Cougars vs. Strath Haven Panthers

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Springfield Cougars challenge the Strath Haven Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday... Springfield will be strutting in after a win while Strath Haven will be coming in after a loss.

Springfield is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They managed a 70-65 victory over Marple Newtown on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Strath Haven came up short against Penncrest on Thursday and fell 44-34. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Springfield's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Strath Haven, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Springfield didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Strath Haven in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 51-45 victory. Will Springfield repeat their success, or does Strath Haven have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
