It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Gate City can now relate to. They came up short against the Central Wise Warriors on Thursday, falling 64-42. The Blue Devils' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Gate City's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Central Wise, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 24-3.

Gate City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Wise, they will face off against Ridgeview at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ridgeview knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Central Wise likes a good challenge.
