Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Jd Russell stepped things up a notch to give Creekview the 'W'. Russell forced one fumble, made 12 total tackles, and defended one pass, which was good enough to set a new career-high in total tackles.

Looking ahead, Russell and Creekview will challenge Riverwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Russell's will try to catch a pass or two from Graham Burmeister the Wolverines' star signal caller Will Burmeister have another big offensive game, or will Russell keep him contained?
