Baseball Recap: Glencliff Comes Up Short

Glencliff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Mount Juliet Christian Academy Saints, falling 32-0.

Glencliff's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Mount Juliet Christian Academy, the victory snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 8-14 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glencliff will face off against Maplewood at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.15 runs per game on average), something the Colts will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Mount Juliet Christian Academy, they will challenge Nashville Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Saints are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
