Baseball Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-2 to the Norwayne Bobcats.

Northwest saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Kraft, who went 1-for-3 with two runs. Will Metzger also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Norwayne, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwest will welcome Coventry at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Indians are facing the Comets at the right time seeing as the Comets are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Norwayne, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Holmes at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
