Basketball Recap: John Carroll Wins Going Away Against Heritage

The John Carroll Patriots didn't have too much trouble with the Heritage Huskies on Friday as they won 71-56.

Despite the loss, Heritage still got an impressive performance from Ryder Strand, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 15 rebounds. Strand is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last 11 games he's played dating back to last season. Christian Hargett was another key player, putting up 12 points.

The victory got John Carroll back to even at 1-1. As for Heritage, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

John Carroll didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-66 defeat against Ambassador Christian School on the 29th. As for Heritage, they have also already played their next contest, an 82-66 win against Wakefield on the 2nd.
