Basketball Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Lamar Christian

Lamar Christian won the last time they faced Bowling Green and Jacob Baxter did his part to make sure it happened again. The Lions simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Buccaneers 76-31 with plenty of help from Baxter, who shot 61% from the field on his way to 31 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Lamar Christian's points.

The victory made it two in a row for Lamar Christian and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Lamar Christian will head out to square off against Christian Collegiate Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bowling Green, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Brookhaven Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
