Baseball Game Preview: Potomac Senior Panthers vs. Osbourn Park Yellowjackets

The Potomac Senior Panthers will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Osbourn Park Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither Potomac Senior nor Osbourn Park posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Potomac Senior is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They lost 16-1 to Eastern View on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Potomac Senior saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Theo Thomas, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Osbourn Park's offense. They fell just short of Brooke Point by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday.

Potomac Senior came out on top in a nail-biter against Osbourn Park when the teams last played back in April of 2022, sneaking past 13-12. Will Potomac Senior repeat their success, or does Osbourn Park have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
