Basketball Recap: Middletown Comes Up Short

Middletown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 61-21 defeat at the hands of the Archmere Academy Auks. The game marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Middletown's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Archmere Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-7.

Middletown has already played their next match (against Mount Pleasant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Archmere Academy will host St. Elizabeth at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
