Soccer Recap: West Fork Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, West Fork was not quite Sterling's equal in the second half on Monday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sterling Rangers. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14-3. As for Sterling, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-5-1.

Looking ahead, West Fork will take on Lake Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Creek will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something West Fork surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sterling, they will head out on the road to square off against Angleton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sterling is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.
