After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Strasburg, Page County was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Stonewall Jackson Generals 2-1. The victory was some much needed relief for Page County as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Page County's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-4-1. As for Stonewall Jackson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Page County will take on rival Rappahannock County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Stonewall Jackson is set to square off against their familiar foe Clarke County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
