Football Game Preview: Woodhaven Warriors vs. Belleville Tigers + How To Watch

The Woodhaven Warriors will square off against the Belleville Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Woodhaven's defense has only allowed 13.6 points per game this season, so Belleville's offense will have their work cut out for them.

On Friday, Woodhaven was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 32-28 to Taylor. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Warriors came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Griffins are ranked 300th).

Meanwhile, Belleville unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against Howell, falling 57-36. Despite 106 more yards than the Highlanders, the Tigers couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Woodhaven will have to contain Kendall Franklin as he made an impact in Belleville's last game. He threw for 306 yards and five TDs. Belleville's leading receiver Geonte Morris was Franklin's top target yet again, picking up 111 receiving yards and one score.
