Basketball Recap: Etowah Comes Up Short

Etowah lost against Ashville back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Etowah Blue Devils were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 61-60 to the Ashville Bulldogs. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Etowah's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Ashville, they pushed their record up to 9-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

When Etowah and Ashville next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Etowah will try to stop Piedmont's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Ashville will challenge Westbrook Christian and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
