Volleyball Game Preview: University Bulldogs vs. Platte Valley Broncos + How To Watch

The University Bulldogs will face off against the Platte Valley Broncos at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. University will be strutting in after a victory while Platte Valley will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, University made easy work of Timnath and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Cubs: they've now won four in a row.

University was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16, 25-16.

University can attribute much of their success to Charlie Sherman, who had nine digs and four aces, and Madison Nation, who had 11 digs. That's the most digs Sherman has posted over her last six matchups.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Platte Valley's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Sterling. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Broncos have suffered against the Tigers since April 6, 2021.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-20, 25-15.

Platte Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for University, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.
