Baseball Recap: Palm Springs Takes a Loss

Palm Springs lost against Xavier Prep last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Palm Springs fell 7-3 to Xavier Prep. The Indians' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Palm Springs saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Clemons, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Palm Springs' loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Xavier Prep, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Palm Springs will host Yucca Valley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Palm Springs is facing Yucca Valley at the right time seeing as Yucca Valley is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Xavier Prep, they will welcome Jesuit at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
