Palmetto is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They managed a 42-36 win over South Dade.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ferguson). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Coral Gables 73-29. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 23 points or more this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Ferguson, bringing their record for this year to 17-4. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.5 points per game. As for Palmetto, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Palmetto skirted past Ferguson 50-48 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Will Palmetto repeat their success, or does Ferguson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
