Basketball Recap: CHAAMP Homeschool Extends Winning Streak to Four

CHAAMP HomeSchool had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They managed a 65-61 win over Tournament Opponent. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 77-39 on Friday.

CHAAMP HomeSchool's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but David Harrison led the charge by dropping a double-double on 18 points and 20 rebounds. Harrison is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Caelan DeLisi, who went 11 for 23 on his way to 24 points and seven rebounds.

CHAAMP HomeSchool smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in eight consecutive games.

CHAAMP HomeSchool's victory bumped their record up to 18-6.

CHAAMP HomeSchool and Muddy River HomeSchool will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Tournament Opponent has already played their next match (against Philadelphia Electric Charter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
