Softball Recap: GV Christian Comes Up Short

GV Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 16-2 to the Lincoln County Lynx. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lynx this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 on Tuesday.

GV Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Heaston, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. That stolen base was Heaston's first of the season.

GV Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Lincoln County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. GV Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe White Pine at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lincoln County will take on rival Needles at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
