Softball Recap: Carlisle Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Carlisle's offense. They came up short against the Overton Mustangs on Tuesday, falling 15-0. The Indians have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meetings.

Carlisle's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Overton, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-8-1.

Looking ahead, Carlisle will look to defend their home field on March 18th against Ore City at 5:30 p.m. Carlisle has given up an average of 16.3 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Overton, they will venture away from home to face off against Harleton at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th.
