Volleyball Recap: Green Comes Up Short

Green was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Minford Falcons, falling 3-0. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in September of 2016.

While Green ultimately came up short, they really made Minford work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-13, 25-13.

Addy Brown paced Green's offense, picking up six kills. Brown got some help from Peyton Neal and her 14 assists. Emma Brown controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Green's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Minford, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Coming up, Green will face off against East at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Minford, they will take on Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
