Softball Recap: Century Jaguars vs. Sherwood Bowmen

Century had lost three straight at home, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 8-13 to make it four. They came up short against the Sherwood Bowmen, falling 11-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bowmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in April.

Hailey Kinney made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Jordyn Henderson, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of McKenna Parmalee, who went 2-for-5 with two RBI and one double.

Century has already played their next game, a 12-2 win against Newberg on the 13th. As for Sherwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 13-3 victory against Glencoe on the 13th.
