For the second straight game, Wiseburn- Da Vinci will face off against Peninsula. The Wolves will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against the Panthers at 3:15 p.m. Wiseburn- Da Vinci is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.

Peninsula will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Wiseburn- Da Vinci extended their winning streak to three on Monday. The Wolves blew past the Panthers 10-1. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Thomas Carpenter made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Carpenter was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Lonnie Jackson was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Xavier Horton, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-6. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Peninsula, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.
